Originally from the UK, Tom Aksham began his musical journey while at university, where a passion for mixing and reading crowds quickly developed into something much bigger.
With over a decade of experience behind the decks, Tom has brought his signature sound to nightclubs and festivals across multiple continents, developing an intuitive ability to read any room and deliver exactly what the dance floor needs. From the vibrant nightclub scene throughout Southeast Asia to the transformative desert experience of Afrika Burn festival and energetic crowds at Mint Festival in the UK.
Tom has recently relocated back to Auckland from Christchurch, where he has performed live on RDU FM and was the resident DJ at He Puna Taimoana for monthly full moon events, as well as many other events. Having performed at countless weddings, corporate events, and Christmas parties, he understands that each event is unique and requires a tailored approach. Whether it’s creating the perfect romantic atmosphere for a first dance, keeping corporate guests engaged throughout an evening, or delivering those peak-time moments that fill every dance floor, he brings both international experience and local insight to every performance.
