Matt Hicks is an open format DJ found in many bars and events throughout the Waikato and Coromandel regions. Matt has weekly residencies at Peach and Porker Night-club (Te Awamutu) and Lucky Finds (Hamilton). Come summertime you can usually find Matt spinning eclectic sets at Smoky Pallet (Whangamata) most weekends and Waihi Beach Hotel bringing in the new year. With 8 years DJing Matt is an experienced all rounder having done School Balls, Primary School discos, Corporate events, Bars/ Nightlclubs 21st, 30th, 40th, 50th, 60th and many, many weddings. Highlights in his career thus far have included being the interchange DJ at 2022s Dance Farm festivals at Joes Farm (Whangamata) playing to 4000 people, The legendary Waikato Halloween festival ‘Summervines’ at Vilagrad winery and the 600 strong crowd at Waihi Beach Hotels New Years party.
