Judy Brown graduated from UCT Conservatoire of Music with a degree in Jazz Arranging and Composition. She is a household name in South Africa due to her successful career in musical theatre and her position in the pop fusion band CODA Africa. She has performed at numerous high-profile events across South Africa as a soloist and in collaboration with some of the country’s most respected artists. Judy moved to Auckland in May 2022 and is now settled there ready to perform in her new country. For smaller events she can provide her own small PA system. Their debut album Liquid Sax is a fusion of mid-tempo funk and nu-disco beats with velvety sax melodies. Judy is in demand as an artist. Her extensive repertoire covers a wide range of styles, from jazz and pop contemporary music to original songs from her album Liquid Sax.
