May often signals the end of our Wedding season with Summer drawing to a close, but there was still a few bookings left for our team! Our DJ Iain MacMartin took the reigns for Kirsten & Ash on their special day at Sculptureum in Matakana.
We are very frequent at the Sculptureum being their preferred Matakana Wedding DJs. We also got to work with a regular friend of ours, Erin Simpson, who officiated the Wedding Ceremony as their celebrant. The ceremony began with our DJ playing John Legends – All of Me as the bride to be walked down the aisle and Erin began her welcome speech.
The wedding documents were signed to the sound track of Stevie Wonders – Signed, sealed, delivered, and finally as the two were announced as New Zealand’s latest married couple Pink’s – Raise Your Glass filled the air withy guests cheering and applauding.
Family friend Rob took the reigns of the MC duties for the Wedding Reception, welcoming and introducing the wedding party for the very first time The Greatest Showman Sound Track song! Kristen chose Ed Sheeran’s ‘Thinking out Loud’ as her first dance, tossed her bouquet to Girls just wanna have fun by Cyndi Lauper, and celebrated the final hoorah for the evening with Journeys Don’t Stop Believing.
